Hussain Sajwani is a Dubai billionaire with a net worth of 5.1 Billion United States Dollars. He is the founder as well as the current C E O of DAMAC Group, which is a residential real estate developer. MR. Hussain founded the company in 2002 after the Dubai government passed a law that allowed foreigners to own property in the emirate. Hussain Sajwani’s family was not wealthy at the beginning but his father used to handle real estate business, and that is where he learned the trade. Hussain graduated from the University of Washington and started his career as a Contracts Manager at GASCO. GASCO is a subsidiary firm of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

After a short period, he started his own business and thereafter ventured into catering in 1982. From a small company, the catering division has grown over the years and is a market leader with over 200 projects under. The division offers services like the construction of campsites, camp management, and accommodation on and off shore. It was after its success that in 2002, Hussain Sajwani family founded DAMAC Properties. It was mainly attributed to the fact that many foreigners were moving to the Emirate for business and trade. AS the Damac owner, Sajwani expanded it such that in 2013, it became the first real estate firm from the Middle East to trade in the London Stock Exchange. After two years, the company was listed on the Dubai Financial Market, its home market exchange. It has its headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

DAMAC Group has over the years completed a number of award winning residential, commercial, and mixed use projects in many countries. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar are some of the examples of countries the firm has worked in. DAMAC is behind projects like the Trump International Golf Club Dubai and AKOYA Oxygen which houses the luxurious entertainment destination, Vista Lux. United States President Trump and Mr. Sajwani both have real estate firms and have in the past collaborated to bring up projects like the Trump Golf Club. Furthermore, the Dubai billionaire announced that he hopes that he and President Trump will enhance their business relations in the properties market. Mr. Hussain is a good businessman and also great philanthropist. This is clear since has supported the Tarahamu campaign with donations to the UAE Red Crescent that is focused o helping the less fortunate.
